20X Nominal magnification optics with extended depth of field and integrated white light illumination.

Low magnification optics used to highlight the microscopic characteristics of the skin texture, it allows to easily differentiate young skin from aging skin. It also allows you to detect imperfections that give discontinuity to the skin: shiny areas with dilated pores (sebum hypersecretion), areas of dry skin (flaking flakes), skin discolorations and signs of capillary fragility (couperose).

20X nominal magnification optics with extended depth of field and integrated Wood light illumination.

Special low magnification optics that allows you to see and differentiate superficial and deep discolorations. Images collected through this optics have diagnostic value: some superficial cutaneous mycoses emit a yellow-green fluorescence if subjected to Wood's light and, in case of pediculosis, live nits are also sensitive to this wavelength. This optics also reveals the presence of vitiligo, when the illuminated skin emits white fluorescence.

Optics with 50 nominal magnifications and integrated white light illumination.

This optics with medium power of magnification, when put in direct contact with small areas of the skin and scalp, allows you to check for imperfections such as capillary fragility under the sensitive skin, dilated pores with an excess of sebum, blackheads and the related inflammatory processes, scaly skin, reddened and inflamed areas all over the body. It is used in trichology to evaluate certain areas of the scalp and to estimate the presence of sebum, dandruff or miniaturized hair (a symptom of alterations of varying severity in the hair growth cycle).

Optics with 50 nominal magnifications and integrated UV light and special fluorescence filters.

Optics with medium magnification power used to evaluate the condition of the sebum produced by the sebaceous glands on the skin and scalp. The sebum contained in the dilated pores becomes fluorescent and appears with a different intensity of color depending on its degree of oxidation. It also allows you to highlight areas lacking in skin lipids (dry skin).

Optics with 200 nominal magnifications and integrated white light illumination.

High magnification optics used in trichology, allows you to observe the biotype of the scalp and any alterations in the hair follicles or the hair shaft. Thanks to its extended depth of field, the optics magnifies the follicular ostia (the area where the follicle communicates with the outside) making sebum excess (oily or waxy), sebaceous plugs or miniaturized hair appreciable (which are symptom of alterations of varying severity in the hair growth cycle). It magnifies the region of skin adjacent to the follicles to show flakes of dandruff (dry or oily), sensitive or inflamed areas. On the hair shaft, damage from thermal or chemical treatments can be easily identified.

Optics with 400 nominal magnifications and integrated white light illumination.

Optic with very high magnification power, specific for trichology. It is used to enlarge the hair bulb and hair through contact. Thanks to its magnification factor it is possible to highlight microscopic anomalies such as warped keratin scales, a symptom of damaged and brittle hair. Used as a microscope, it allows you to perform the trichogram by inserting the hair into the special Tricoplast plastic support. This method allows to examine and characterize the bulb in its various vital phases (anagen, catagen, telogen) and it is very useful in determining the most frequent causes of hair loss as well as to discriminate the different types of alopecia.

This sensor detects the sebum present on the skin by contact, setting it apart from other liquids that make up the hydrolipidic film.

The device displays the spatial distribution of sebum and its quantity in a few seconds. This sensor allows you to understand the morphology of the sebaceous glands and their functioning by providing clear indications on states of hyper or hypo secretion of sebum and by acquiring necessary information to correct functional alterations.

Thanks to this sensor it is possible to evaluate the profilometry of the skin (the depth of the wrinkles of a person with respect to their age).

The device displays all the depressions of the skin in the framed area in real time, recognizes the deepest wrinkles and visually displays them on a graduated scale. Using three different colors, the scale classifies the wrinkle within one of the following categories: physiological, medium (moderately deep) or severe (very deep with respect to the age of the client). With this sensor you’ll be able to analyze the lines of the face and décolleté and better advise the client / patient on possible treatments (prevention, maintenance or recovery and redensification) depending on the condition detected.

This measurement sensor makes it possible to establish the customer's phototype based on the Fitzpatrick classification scale

The magnification feature integrated in the optics makes it possible to easily visualize the portion of the skin where you need to carry out the measurement, avoiding hair or discoloration that could influence the determination of the correct phototype. You can take the measurement with just one click, evaluating the average color of three distinct targets. The detected phototype is displayed along with the most suitable sun protection factor (SPF) according to the area (face, décolleté and body), preserving the skin from sun damage.

This sensor allows you to determine the degree of hydration of the skin of the face and body.

The measurement refers to the water content of the stratum corneum of the skin and is expressed as a percentage. For each measurement performed, the system provides both the percentage of hydration detected and the average of the measurements of the examined area.

This sensor allows you to accurately determine the elasticity of the skin.

The measurement, based on the principle of suction, is expressed through a graph and a series of numerical parameters. The graph represents the extension and subsequent retraction of the skin to the basal state with a high degree of accuracy, while the system automatically determines the degree of elasticity. The measurement is expressed as a percentage and can be carried out in all areas of the body, especially those with greater laxity, such as the jawline or the volar side of the arms.

This sensor allows you to determine the average density of the hair of a specific area (expressed in the number of hairs per square centimeter).

The sensor highlights a target area in which visible hair can easily be counted. Once the count has been entered, the system obtains the correct measure of density in hair per cm². The numerical ratio is accompanied by a qualitative indication of the density (normal, low or very low). The measurement of hair density, carried out on a regular basis, allows the early identification of potential risk areas, as well as the assessment of the severity and speed of the thinning progression.

This sensor allows you to accurately measure the average diameter in microns of a hair and to determine whether it can be classified as fine, medium or thick.

The measurement carried out regularly in the same areas allows you to establish the increase of miniaturized hair (evolution of androgenetic alopecia).The sensor is equipped with a clamp that holds the hair, so that it can be analyzed and measured in just one click. By sliding the hair into the clamp housing, it is also possible to appreciate any damaged areas or morphological alterations such as tricorexis or breaking points.

Optics used at a short distance (without contact) to magnify macroscopic areas.

It provides an overview of skin lesions and their location on the body. You can use both Macro PRO MAX and 20X PL PRO MAX for a more complete mole mapping.

Special low magnification optics used in the field of skin dyschromia diagnostics (leucodermia and hypermelanosis), to observe pigmentation disorders. It also finds application in the analysis of some infectious diseases of the skin and porphyrias.

Specific for immersion dermoscopy for mole mapping, it allows to display lesions with excellent definition up to a maximum diameter of 2 cm. It allows to establish the shape, the margins, the color, the subcutaneous pattern and the structures that compose it, such as striae or regression structures of pigmented lesions.

Optics with nominal 50 magnifications with extended depth of field and integrated white light illumination optic.

Specific for immersion capillaroscopy, this optics allows for detailed analysis of vascular patterns (microcirculation morphology and flow dynamics). It can also be used on pigmented lesions to enlarge details of their margins or their subcutaneous pattern. Thanks to the high depth of field of this optics, it can be used to examine the nail fold as well.

Optics with nominal 200 magnification with extended depth of field and integrated white light illumination.

This optic allows an adequate examination of the morphological aspects of the district microcirculation with identification of regional microangio-tectonics. At this magnification the blood flow can be seen. It also allows you to perform the trichological investigation in situ to highlight abnormalities in the hair bulb, hair shaft and scalp.
